As an educator, my role is to guide and nurture the next generation, equipping them with the skills necessary for health, prosperity, and fulfilment. I am passionate about empowering students to succeed and believe that inspiration and collaboration among staff, students, and the community are essential to promoting student achievement and well-being.

I am a staunch advocate for effective and innovative professional development, encouraging our teachers to continuously refine their practices to provide quality teaching and learning for each student. Staying abreast of the latest educational trends and research, I actively participate in the school's professional development, fostering an environment where innovation and creativity thrive. It is important to me to inspire and challenge both staff and students to be inventive and imaginative in their learning and daily tasks. As John Hattie wisely stated, “Teachers should build classroom climates where errors are welcome, student engagement is the norm, questioning is high and students gain reputations as effective learners.”
